How to get to The English House, Candemil:

Recommended way if travelling from the UK : is to fly into Porto Airport and hire a car – follow A3 - journey time 1 hour - Toll charge about 6.60 euros

Alternatively – fly into Lisbon airport – A1 – A3 (4 hrs.)

If you prefer sailing - Spanish ferries - 6 hrs.

We are exactly 4 kms from Junction 13 off the A3 on the N202.

N.B:  Motorways are virtually empty most of the year.
